MBK linked up with myself to discuss brand new single "Style & Demeanour" partnership with "IMJUSTBAIT" a popular instagram page thats amassed over 4 million followers and the cancelled shows they've missed out on due to COVID19 and a potential Nafe Smallz collaboration.
The group rapper zeus said "we thrive in showcasing versatility, excelling in diffrent genres.Furthermore what makes US so special is the fact that as individuals we all have different personalities and influences which then displays itself into our music" the group are currently working on there debut album a project they hope to further showcase versatility to a bigger audience, with sounds such as Trap, R&B, Dancehall and Drill all expected to be included in the tape. Therefore should be a song on the album for everyone to be able to listen to and enjoy due to the groups versatility.
The group's single "Style & Demeanour" featuring Dej Paradise has racked up over 20,000 views & streams in just 2 weeks, this is a massive achievement as Gio said "we're so happy with this start because we had to re brand and basically start again we used to be 5 of us in our group but the dynamics wasn't working and we felt the rebrand was for the better" and with more music on the way they hope they're fanbase keeps growing.
MBK also popularised a sequence of dance moves, creating a buzz across social media. The collective's Instagram page have been flooded with video contributions from fans imitating the moves shown in the visuals. MBK shamz said "As it's self isolation and everyone has a lot off free time due to quarantine we are receiving trillers and Tik-toks on a daily basis." This social media success has resulted in "Style and demeanour" skyrocketing into the second most viewed song on the channel!
